I'm sure the one or two deals you signed up for Groupon and LivingSocial were nice, but it's a year later, you haven't found a useful deal in months, and you still get a daily email from several different deal sites. If you're a Gmail user and tired of daily deal deluge you can opt out of 12 different deals sites in one go by using the straightforwardly-named webapp Unsubscribe Deals.
You'll need to allow the site to access your Gmail account. Once you've given the necessary permissions, the webapp will scan your account and unsubscribe you to the following 12 deals sites: LivingSocial, Groupon, Woot!, Daily Candy, LifeBooker, Google Offers, Amazon Local, Deal Yip It, Bloomspot, Gilt City, KGB Deals, and Save.
Once you've gone through the process you'll receive a message telling you that it can take 7-14 days for the deals to stop hitting your inbox as it takes that long for the deal site servers to adjust to the unsubscribe request. Curiously enough there is also a link titled "Sell Your Deals" that takes you to a coming soon page with no explanation to what this might mean.
I'm not generally one to allow any webapp access to my accounts, but if you've been putting off manually unsubscribing from multiple deals sites the webapp should work nicely.
